CHALLENGE
Sweet Habit Low Fat Ice Cream came to us seeking an effective website that captured the spirit of their new and exciting brand. Amongst the competitors, they clearly owned black — a daring shade for the food market. The challenge was to utilize their new branding system, shake up the expected, and create an easy-to-navigate website experience. Towards the end of completion, they realized they wanted a website that could easily expand it’s product offerings, which in turn changed our approach to the navigation of the site. SOLUTION
Through utilizing black with pops of color on the homepage, the striking and ownable look of Sweet Habit was brought to life. Adding fun interaction design moments, like the floating pints on hover, took full advantage of the brand’s playful spirit. The biggest challenge that was solved was designing the navigation to be expandable to new products. Making sub menus was crucial for a digestible user experience with potentially many products. The solution was simple, yet smart, and paved the way for the brand to grow in the future.
